STASH #31: Casio Watches
Would just like to share about my love for Casio watches. I still remember when I was young, my bro and I were wearing Casio watches to school. Then G-Shock and Baby-G came along and they became the IT watch. I would plead with my mom to get one for me when I do well for my exams.
Casio watches are affordable, versatile and good for all occasions. I love how they use different materials for the straps and the use of gold to enhance the look of the watch. Now take a look at the watches I have from Casio:
From left to right: Leather strap gold rim watch $22, Rubber strap rectangular face watch $18, Gold metallic small face watch $31 (prices are estimated from what I can remember)
First watch for everyday wear, so you can see it looks tired and worn out already. haha. Second is for rough wear or on days where I am out sweating under the sun. Third one super bling, so for days when I dress up!
Bought all the watches from Mustafa cos it's cheaper there and there's a super duper massive selection of Casio watches (and other brands as well) there so you can have wide range of choices to choose from.
Now you know where to find them!

STASH #30: Shoes
Recently, I have been buying quite a few new shoes. Rainy season calls for these purchases to replace my old, tired and soaked shoes.
Jelly shoes! Perfect for light rain and drizzle but disastrous for rainy weather when water seeps into the shoes. Cos it's jelly, there is totally no grip when there's water between your skin and the shoes.
Left: from John Little (Tiong Bahru Plaza) $10
comfortable and lasting with jelly material!
Right: from Anna Nucci $28
the front part is quite tight, even after expanding. cause blisters after walking long hours. had to stick paddings at the top.
Monotone patent flats from Bugis Street new extenstion $28
comfortable and good quality. I love the design and the material used, plus it's easy to match with any outfit!
Glitter Gold flats from Mitju $29
affordable, comfortable and glam your outfit immediately! Great with LBD and skinny jeans.

DIY #1: Create Your Style with Swarovski Elements - Quilting with Sarah's Loft
Hey Ho! Spent my Sunday afternoon at a Nuffnang and Swarovski event, Create Your Style with Swarovski Elements - Quilting with Sarah's Loft. The event was held at the Sculpture Square, a yellow little house along Middle Road. I thought the place was awesome for workshops, or even small parties and celebrations!
This is my first blogger event and I was excited cos firstly, I joined for fun, just trying my luck to see if I would get selected. And secondly, I was rather interested in learning how to make stuff using swarovski crystals (I love bling!).
Sat somewhere in front and I thought Sarah was one of the participant blogger as well =X (sorry Sarah! you looked different online!) Super friendly person without any airs and I could just chat with her just like I would with anyone else.
Sarah introducing herself.
my work kit
There's a teacher to go through step by step with us on quilting... more like sewing.. the pouch. Don't say already, I'm not in love with my fabric at all... haha.
halfway through the workshop and all of us were still sewing! pause for buffet lunch first.
Elle and I hard at work.
me, elle, sarah
and here is my pouch!
embellished with swarovski crystals! Yeah, mine's mad ugly. But how to bling when your fabric is like that?! I give up.
a picture with a new found friend, Elle!
one with celebrity blogger, Sarah!
and a last one with an old Fairsian friend, Chris! Good to see you in a place with so many unfamiliar faces!
I had a great time learning how to sew (really, we hand-stitched the whole pouch!) and how to use the iron to stick the crystals onto the fabric.
Looking forward for more DIY stuff with Swarovski crystals soon!

OOTD #2: Hanoi trip!
Had a year-end getaway to Vietnam with my boy, and also to commemorate our 2nd year anniversary together! During the 8-days trip, we visited Hanoi, Danang, Hoi an and Hue. Hanoi was really cold. Said to be about 15 - 18 degree celcius, but I reckon it was much colder! Danang's weather was the best, aircon temperate with a slight breeze, while Hoi an and Hue were quite hot. Amazed at the vast change in the temperature as we travelled!
Compile some of my OOTD with you guys as well. Yeah, I mixed and matched and wore some outfits twice. Don't judge me, I only had 10kg handcarry luggage to bring with meeee.

Take a look at my stash to see what I got!

Colorblock top
This top can't go wrong whether you pair it with shorts, pants or skirt! My mom liked it so I gave it to her!
